Samsung Smart Phone “Black Jack III” model SCH-M480 will be released next week in Korea, by SK Telecom, one of the largest telecoms operators there.
SCH-M480 dubbed as “Ultra Messaging 2″ will be running on the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. The SCH-M480 can work with Microsoft Office, browse the web, read e-mail and also play multimedia files.
The SCH-M480 comes with a 2.55 inch touchscreen display with 320×320 pixel resolution with 65K colors, a stylish keypad and finger mouse.
The SCH-M480 has a 2M camera, MP3/MPEG4, WMV files support and micro SD card slot. It comes with a 3G connectivity, internal GPS, Wi-Fi, video and music player.
The SCH-M480 has a 1480mAh battery which can give upto 7 hours in talk-time or upto 400 hours in stand-by mode.
The SCH-M480 measures 115.9 x 61.3 x 12.9 mm and weighs 120 gms.
Samsung Smart phone, model SGH-i200 with Windows Mobile 6.1 OS is now available in the retail markets in Europe and Asia.
The Standard Edition of Samsung i200 Smart phone with slim and stylish looks is available in two colors, black and blue.
The SGH- i200 comes with a tri-band connectivity (900/1800/1900 MHz) and with GPRS and EDGE. The 2100MHz HSDPA connectivity gives transfer speeds upto 3.6 Mbps.
The 2.3 inch TFT non-touchscreen display gives 240×320 pixels resolution and 262K colors. The 2M camera comes with face detection and video recording. The other features of SGH-i200 include Pocket Internet Explorer, Outlook, email etc .
A drawback may be the limited 25MB internal memory but it is easily overcome with the additional micro-SD card slot. So users can get several GBs of storage by putting that additional card.
The 1100 mAh battery of SGH-i200 can give upto 4hours in talk-time mode and upto 360 hours in Stand by mode.
This sleek phone measures only 116.7×50.8×11.8 millimeters and weighs 102 grams.
