LG launches a entry level clamshell LG KP152 in Brazil. But this won’t be a Brazil-only phone. Europe is lined up for it (date of release not known), with Russians being among the first to be able to grab the stylish LG clamshell in either red or black.
Its simplicity and goodlooking body catches the eye. It is stylish, compact and available for a $100 only. But yes, it isn’t so impressive on its features.
The phone carries a not so impressive list of features. The Integrated FM radio, VGA camera and Tri band GSM/GPRS connectivity for the net, TFT display with 65K colors(resolution not known), a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery, talk time of 3.5 hours with the standby time clocked at 350 hours doesn’t catch the imagination of the modern day gadget lovers.
Yet this beauty does make heads turn with its sexy exterior. So all those who want to put mobile phone to its basic usage without getting lost in its hifi features, come grab this sexy phone LG KP152 which will be available in two colours - red and black. The clamshell will have a retail price of somewhere around $100.

Prada comes in all its originality once again, as Prada II, with an added feature of a QWERTY silver keyboard. LG has partnered with Prada to launch this new version.
The detailed specification still lies wrapped but the highlights are out. 5MP camera with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, 3G compatibility with video calling, Wi-Fi and HSDPA are some of the highlights to start with. To add to this the silver keyboard comes with additional on-screen call and hang-up buttons.
LG KF900 is available through major mobile dealerships in Italy, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Netherlands. Q4 of 2008 will see it tagged at 600 Euros.

LG-KT520, the latest mid-end slider phone from LG was released in Taiwan and Europe. It is available through O2 in the UK and will be made available in some Asian countries as well at a later date.
The LG KT520 is a simple yet classy phone designed to lure the fashion-conscious mobile users. The phone comes with a tri-band GSM connectivity (700/1800/1900 MHz) and HSDPA 2100 connectivity for quick data transfer speeds of up to 36Mbps.
The LG-KT520 has a 3 Mega pixel camera with auto-focus, digital zoom and video recording. The only drawback in the camera is that there is no flash, so night-time picture quality is affected.
The LG KT520 comes with a 2.2 inch TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution, 262K colors and also a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Some of the other features include Blue tooth 2.0 with A2DP, Web browser, e mailing, Instant Messaging, Voice command, pre-installed games, a 60 MB internal memory which is expandable up to 4 GBs with the support of a micro SD card or micro SDHC card and a 800 mAh battery.
The phone measures 100 x 50 x 15 millimeters and weighs 100 gms. It is currently available for about 8,990 TWD or 190 Euros.
