Lenovo OPhone is only for the Chinese territory

Lenovo is a laptop manufacturer which has created its own Android OS based phone. The only sad fact of this beautiful start is that it is only coming to China.

The OPhone which is already being compared to the iPhone and Blackberry in its features is going to remain secluded and confined to the Chinese. The chances of it coming to the US markets seem to be very bleak.

The operating system of the OPhone is based on China Mobile’s Open Mobile System, a Android  and TD SCDMA which is China’s indigenous 3G standards. The Android Smartphone with its large touchscreen will offer integrated support and applications for China’s 3G network. Not much is talked about its various specifications. The release of this phone is expected sometime during February-March 2009.
