Sony mobiles have announced the release of its new Xperia league mobile phone which is known as Sony Xperia Acro S. This new mobile phone from Sony comes with Android 4.0 Operating system (Ice Cream Sandwich) and can be considered as one of the most rugged phones out there.
Sony Xperia Acro S can withstand water immersion up to 1 meter depth of water and is also dust resistant. This device boasts a 4.3 inch capacitive display screen with reality display and 720 p resolution count. There comes a 12MP Exmor R Sensor camera attached on the rear side which has an aperture count of f/2.4 and can also record good quality videos at 1080p full HD. For video conferencing needs, Acro S is equipped with a 1.3 MP camera on the front side.
The display screen of this device is shatter proof and scratch proof making it even more rugged and it also supports the wet finger tracking technology which is similar to that of Xperia Active. Under the hood, Sony Xperia Acro S comes powered with a 1.5GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM. For users with extra storing needs, this model comprises of 16GB of internal storage space.
