Kyocera Corporation launched a new waterproof* sliding-face mobile phone for the au network named SA002. This handset is the world’s thinnest waterproof mobile handset and is available in 7 color variations.
The newly developed SA002 incorporates Kyocera’s unique miniaturization technologies to realize a 49mm-wide rounded design, creating a compact, sliding-face mobile that makes it convenient to hold for those with smaller hands.
The handset also comes equipped with an 8 megapixel digital camera that supports the new face-detecting auto-focus function. It has got a “photobook function,” “blog update function” and “graphic stand function” which helps taking and sharing photographs to the fullest. It also supports communication function with a full range of decorative mail materials. The approximate weight of the handset is around 130 grams. Its external memory can be expanded upto 16GB using a microSD card slot. Hence the user can load plenty of phonebook entries alongwith images in the large storage space.
