Nokia has recently announced that the launch of their latest smartphone Nokia X5 in Singapore. This square form factor based Nokia X5 ‘Comes with Music’ slider phone and looks like a cross between smartphone and XpressMusic handset. New Nokia X5 handset has got a slide-to-open panel that reveals QWERTY keyboard and also brings along number of great, attractive features. Nokia has added a dedicated music button on the phone just like Sony Ericsson did for its Walkman series of phones. Just like Apple has ‘Shake to Shuffle’ feature, this X5 comes with ‘Surprise Me’ feature wherein, if the phone is spun while music is being played, it will select and play a random track automatically. When music is not playing, you can shake the phone and it will tell you the number of new SMS in the Inbox. Of course you’ll have access to slew of social networking services too. The price of the smartphone is expected at 160 Euros or Rs 9500/ in the Indian market.
