Remote Desktop Access by Mobile phone

in latest mobile phone news

Gooer ( http://www.gooer.com/ ), a leading service provider of Remote Desktop solutions, announced the industry’s first mobile phone service that enables customers to access their remote PC using mobile phones or PDAs. Unlike other service providers, Gooer does not need the remote PC to have a public IP or route configuration. Customers can access their PC behind NAT or firewalls without any configuration to their network.
Gooer solutions is Java-based and supports all mobile phones and PDAs which can run Java. After installing and logging in, customers can “take over” the screen of their remote PC with their mobile phones.
Gooer also supports using web browsers (IE/Firefox) to access remote PCs. Laptop users can work at Starbucks or at home as if they were in the office, because they can get their whole desktop remotely.
Compared with VPN, Gooer solutions has 2 advantages. Customers do not need any hardware configuration before using it. For small companies with no IT people, but with employees who still want to access their PCs at home, Gooer solutions is much more convenient. With client PCs, the customer cannot connect to the local network and the remote network at the same time for VPN. However, Gooer has made it possible to let the Remote Desktop work in web browser. It has no impact on the client PC’s network.
